Cramps: Fresh pineapple juice. Pineapple contains bromelain, a muscle relaxant.
Flu: Apple juice and red grape juice have properties which are effective against nasal congestion. Red grapes also contain tannins, compounds with antiviral properties. Drink these juices at room temperature and in between meals.
Anaemia: Add a quarter of a litre of apricot juice to a 25g infusion of thite nettle. This juice increases red bood cell and haemoglobin counts.
Diarrhea: Add 1 spoonful of wtheat bran to apple juice. Drink it in the afternoon after eating.
Fatigue: 25g. of apple juice, 250g. of orange and 50g. of lemon. This isa powerful tonic.
Backache: Drink a glass of fresh grape juice every day and in between meals. It is a good preventive.
Hangover: Add a liquefied cucumber and a quarter onion to tamato juice and a spoonful of olive oil. Drink it before going to sleep and repeat on the following morning.
Cough and Bronchitis: Mix half a litre of pineapple juice with a half liquefied mango and 3 plums: this lubricates the mucous membranes of the throat.
Temperature: Juice with 100g. of strawberries and 100g. of redcurrants. Drink it 3 times a day.
